We headed up to the farm for Thanksgiving and had a really nice, quiet holiday. The kids weren't the best sleepers, so we spent most our days catching up on the sleep we missed out on during the nights. And the fresh snowfall on Thanksgiving night made it easy to stay indoors. It was a really full house, so we hope we didn't keep too many other people awake at night!
Everyone was home, except Alex, so our numbers totaled nine adults, three children and six dogs. Nick left his dogs at home and Adam and Sarah left Karma at her parents house, so it was calmer than it could have been!
We were able to have our Christmas Eve celebration with the Walters on Saturday, which was great since so many of us are going to other Christmas celebrations this year. We decorated cookies, did the standard gift exchange and just enjoyed seeing one another.
Henry and Jack are becoming great pals. I didn't have my camera out much, but I got a couple decent photos. We got some great ones on Joan's camera, so if we ever get around to photo sharing, I will update this post with some of those!
We hope everyone out there enjoyed their Thanksgiving celebrations! Happy start to the 2012 Holiday Season!
